Joan is especially grateful to Babbie Mason (award-winning songwriter, singer, musician, and author of several books) for personally encouraging her to continue song-writing and recording despite starting these endeavors late in life. 
Joan’s first recorded songs were aired on Babbie Mason Radio which broadcasts to more than 190 countries through partnership with Transworld Radio. Joan’s songs have also been played on New Life Radio (90.7 and 91.7 FM, in and around Atlanta).

Joan is grateful as well to others who have encouraged and supported her in her pursuit of songwriting and recording, and wishes to extend a special thanks to songwriter, singer, musician and producer, Rody Inestroza, who produced her first two songs. She also extends special thanks to Maggie Sofidiya (singer) and Paul Settles (singer/keyboardist) who joined her on the recording of “Worthy of All Praise.” And special thanks to Paul's mother, Alberta Settles who supported and faithfully prayed for them.
